The idea of the "Challenge" came up in a sort of round about way. There was never a point in time when I thought, "Gee, I should try and read a certain number of books this year and document it for everyone to see!" Instead it came about this way "Man, I read a lot of books. I wonder how many I read in a year. Hmmm..." Not too exciting or ground breaking. In fact I know of many people who have done their own form of a reading challenge. Basically, my goal is to read 25 books over the course of the next 12 months. 25 books may not seem like a whole lot, but you never know what might come up. Plus, I hate rushing through books just for the sake of rushing. Books are meant to be savored and enjoyed, not pounded through. Although it would be great to actually achieve my goal before the year is out, but lets not get ahead of ourselves.
For each book I read I will give the basic information required, duh, and of course my own kind of mini review. I am still trying to compile a list, which for me is difficult. I am a compulsive book buyer, I go into bookstores and buy whatever catches my eye at that time. So making up a list may be difficult, expect some changes (additions, subtractions, etc).
